I forgot to mention that I had a real shower and laundry yesterday on top of a real meal, apple pie alamode and 2 beers! It was definitely a busy day yesterday.
This morning breakfast in the restaurant and getting things in order to leave. Nocello and I left at 12:30pm and chose to walk back to the PCT. Again, not an ideal decision, non-pct miles are bad miles. We arrived at camp by 6:15pm. Nocello plans on going to Mammoth Lakes a ski resort town so I’ve decided to do the same and hopefully be able to call Kelly and family! Tomorrow it’ll be 24 miles to Mammoth and going over Silver Pass.
Here is the trail, can you see it? Imagine 3x more water last year.
