Day 61, 882.4 to 903.3 + 3.5 miles side trail to Mammoth Pass.

6/9/18 24.4 miles.

Rumor has it there is a trolley that runs from Mammoth Pass trail head to Mammoth lakes town. This is true however we missed the last route time so we made camp off trail about 50 yards.

The trees in this area are thinned out due to carbon dioxide coming up from the ground, more about that here.

Tomorrow into Mammoth lakes.

My shoes didn’t fair to well over the Sierra’s. They’re going to have to last another 200miles to Tahoe!
